This diorama is used to teach camps in Miniatures, and has been displayed in the Art of Miniatures at the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination with working lights, fans and running water.
This kitchen has been shown at the Maker Faire and the Art in Miniatures exhibition at the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination, and the sink photograph at the Las Vegas Museum of Modern Art .
This awesome partnership gives kids real world experience. In the camp “Fun with Bookmaking” kids get a chance to work with both the exhibiting artist Valerie Herraro and published author David Covell. They will create their own stories, and learn the artistry of book making, while getting an opportunity to perform a reading of their own books both at the gallery and at the White Whale Book store!
