LIES CREW

In the fall of 1994, in Pittsburgh, artists 21rak and Kemist, after years of graffiti activity, decided to create the crew LIES. Rooted in originality of concepts, devoted practice of skill, and passion for their art, both became prolific figures locally, even stretching to cities across the US. Thirty plus years on, LIES has grown to 30 members,  spanning over 8 states coast to coast, who each bring their own diverse flavor and style to the crew.  As 21rak puts it... "the fundamental meaning of LIES is: Living It Every Second; which is how we felt about graffiti back then, it was something we did or thought about all the time, every second.
